SOUTHERN VOLTA ASSOCIATION OF CANADA
CONSTITUTION

 

ARTICLE ONE

The Southern Volta Association of Canada is a non-governmental and
non-political association.

SECTION 1. OBJECTIVES

The objectives for which the organization is constituted under the
Canada Constitutions Act for non-profit organizations are:

1. ETHNIC:

a) Generally to encourage, foster and develop solidarity among all
Ewes of Southern Volta origin and their families who currently reside in
Canada.

b) Preserving and perpetuating the culture and traditions of
Southern Volta.

c) Sponsoring literary, musical, pageants and conventions for the
promotion of the culture of Southern Volta.

d) Establishing an institution to promote, teach and research the
EWE language and publish books and other materials.

e) Establishing and maintaining a centre for cultural activities
for Canadians of Southern Volta descent.

f) To provide assistance to its members in all matters of:
i.
Immigration
ii.
Health and Welfare
iii.
Settlement

g) To foster contacts and cordial relationships with other
Associations.

h) To serve the government and people of Ontario, in any community
service and/or activity anytime required.

i) To receive and administer all funds accruing to the
association from membership fees and/or dues, or by donation, gift,
returns, business venture, legacy, bequest or however.

j) To enter into any agreement with authority, federal,
provincial, municipal, local or otherwise, public or private,
international agencies or communities or otherwise, including agreements
with any authority respecting collection and remission of fees from
members of the organization that may seem conducive to the
organization's objectives and to obtain from any such authority rights,
privileges and concessions which the organization may think it desirable
to obtain, and carry out exercise and comply with such agreements,
rights, privileges and concessions;

2. INTERNATIONAL DEVELOPMENT

Relief of Poverty

a) To relieve poverty in developing nations by providing food and
other basic supplies to persons in need.

Health

b) To develop or promote public health in developing nations by
educating and instructing the public on prevention of , and curative
measures for, health problems and by researching and documenting changes
in the health of the community.

Drinking Water

c) To improve the quality of drinking water in developing nations
by constructing wells and water treatment, irrigation and sewage
treatment systems.

Agricultural

d) To improve skills in forestry, agriculture and horticulture and
to assist in the preservation of the environment in developing nations.

Disaster Relief

e) To provide necessities of life to victims of disasters.

3. For the objectives aforesaid to purchase, lease, create, construct,
build, rent or otherwise acquire, own, operate or use buildings,
equipment and other facilities.

4. For further attainment of said objectives, to employ staff.

5. The directors shall serve as such without remuneration and any
director shall not receive wages.

 

SECTION 2. MEMBERSHIP

The Association's membership shall be comprised of the following:

a) All persons of Southern Volta origin and their families

b) Person duly recognized by the Association (herein referred to)
as Honorary Members

c) Members shall be required to pay a non-refundable registration
fee and monthly dues to be determined by the general membership from
time to time.

THE FOLLOWING BY-LAWS ARE HEREBY ENACTED BY THE SOUTHERN VOLTA
ASSOCIATION OF CANADA:

 

Sub-Section One (1) Interpretation:

In this constitution:
1) "Association" shall mean the Southern Volta Association of
Canada
2) "Meeting" shall mean the official gathering of the Association.
3) "Chairman" shall mean the elected chairman of the Association.
4) "Vice-Chairman" shall mean the elected vice-chairman of the
Association.
5) "Secretary" shall mean the elected secretary of the Association.
6) "Treasurer" shall mean the elected treasurer of the Association.
7) "Executive Body" shall mean the executive body of the
Association.
8) "Committee" shall mean a committee appointed by the Association.
9) "Members" shall mean any class or classes of membership in the
Association, which includes active members, attached members,
association members
10) "Registered Members" shall mean members whom dully in accordance
with this CONSTITUTION
11) "Good Standing" shall mean
a) A member shall not be in arrears of his/her dues for more than
two (2) months without a reasonable explanation
b) Not being absent from two (2) consecutive meetings without
tangible explanation
c) Public Relations Officer to remind those in arrears
d) Participating in all activities, or events organized by the
Association and that organized by individual members without tangible
explanation

 

Subsection Two (2) Organization Seal and Logo:

There shall be a seal and logo of the Association, an impression and an
example whereof is stamped and affixed in the margin hereof. The seal
shall be in the custody of a member of the executive body.

 

Subsection Three (3) Execution of Document:

Contracts, documents or any instrument in writing requiring execution on
behalf of the Association shall be signed by at least two of the
following: the chairman, the secretary, the treasurer, and/or any person
designated by the executive body.

The Seal of the Association shall be affixed to contracts, documents or
instruments in writing signed as previously mentioned.

The Logo of the Association shall appear on all correspondence and
documents issued by the Association.

 

Sub-Section Four (4) General Meetings:

1) A regular Meeting of the Association shall be held at least once
every month

2) Notice in writing and/or through other means of communication
shall be given to all members at least seven (7) days before the due
date

3) A special Meeting of the Association may be convened by the
Executive Body, the Chairman, and/or any officer, director or any person
designated by the General Assembly upon request by the executive body
and/or 10% of the Members of the Association.

4) All individuals shall conduct themselves in a reasonably
accepted manner and/or comply with any regulation set out at the place
of meeting.

5) Deliberations of the group may be held in Ewe or English
language.

Sub-Section Five (5) The Association:

The Association is a non-political and non-governmental organization.

1) The Association shall have committees that will be assigned
specific responsibilities.

2) The Association shall comprise of its members.

3) All elected officers and/or directors shall serve a term of
three (3) years (after which election will be held) and can retain the
office if re-elected.

4) Vacancies: Any vacancies shall be filled by an officer through
elections or by any person designated by the General Membership.

 

Sub-Section Six (6) Disqualifications of Members:

a) Any member of the Association shall cease to be a member and
shall be the duty of the executive body to declare his/her
disqualification of membership:
i.
If by notice in writing, he/she resigns
ii.
If he/she dies
iii.
If he/she misses three consecutive regular meetings without explanation

b) Any member of the executive and/or director, or officer shall
vacate his/her position if he/she misses three consecutive meetings
including executive meetings without valid written and/or formal excuse
to the Association.

c) The office of a director or officer shall be declared vacant if,
after eight (8) days notice to the General Membership, by a resolution
passed by at least two-thirds (2/3) of the vote cast at a meeting, the
seat of such member shall be declared vacant.

d) Any member who misuses or uses the name of the Association
without proper authorization shall be deemed to have violated the
Constitution and shall be dismissed and prosecuted.

e) Any executive member, board of directors or any person acting on
behalf of the executive or the board who uses their position for
personal gains shall be dismissed and prosecuted.

Sub-Section Seven (7) Indemnifications:

The Association hereby agrees that every member, officer or director
shall be deemed to have assumed on the express understanding, agreement
and condition; that every member, officer or director and his/her heirs,
executors, administrators, estate and effects respectively, shall from
time to time and at all times be indemnified and saved harmless out of
funds of the Association and against:

a) All cost, charges and expenses whatsoever which such member,
director or officer of the Association incurs or sustains, or about any
action, suit or proceeding, which is brought, commenced or prosecuted
against his/her for or respect of any act, deed, matter or thing
whatsoever, made, done, or permitted by his/her office;

Except such costs, charges and expenses are occasioned by his/her
willful neglect or default.

 

Sub-Section Eight (8) Financial Matters:

1) Bank:
The Association shall pen and maintain bank account(s) in chartered bank
trust companies or any such banking institution that operates under
Canadian Jurisdictions.

2) Records of Accounts:
The Association shall cause to be kept books of account records therein
a) All sums of money received and expended by the Association and
the matters in respect of which the receipt and expenditure take place
b) All revenues and purchases by the Association
c) The assets and liabilities of the Association
d) All other transactions affecting the financial position of the
Association

3) Fiscal Year: The fiscal year of the Association shall terminate
December 31, in each year

4) Audit: The Association shall appoint an Independent Auditor for
each fiscal year. He/she shall examine the accounts of the organization
for that fiscal year.

a) There shall be an internal audit by a committee of Association's
members and
b) There shall be an independent external auditing

ARTICLE TWO

Officers and Directors of the Association

Section ONE (1) Chairman:

The Association shall have a Chairman:
1) Shall be elected as outlined in this Constitution
2) Shall chair the Executive Body and also chair of functions
3) Shall sit on all committees as ex-officio member or delegate
authority to a member to represent him/her;
4) Shall supervise and direct the implementation of policies of the
Association
5) Shall have signing authority for the Association
6) Shall have the power to recommend to the Association the
establishment of new programs and services;

Section TWO (2) Vice-Chairman:

There shall be a Vice-Chairman:
1) Shall be elected as outlined in this Constitution
2) Shall sit on the Executive Body;
3) Shall have a signing authority for the Association in absence of
the Chairman
4) Shall act as Chairman if the Chairman is absent or there is a
vacancy in the office of the Chairman and when acting he/she shall have
all the powers of the Chairman
5) Shall assist the Chairman in all aspects.

Section THREE (3) Treasurer:

The Treasurer is the chief Financial Officer of the Association and
shall be elected by the General Meeting of the Association and who:
1) Shall sit on the Executive Body
2) Shall have a signing authority
3) Shall cause to be kept all proper books of account
4) Shall chair the Financial and Audit Committees;
5) Shall report to the General Meeting

Section FOUR (4) Elections Officer:

There shall be an Elections Officer who will be elected by the General
Meeting:
1) Shall conduct all election and referenda in the meeting as
outlined by this Constitution

Section Five (5) Secretary:

There shall a Corporate Secretary who:
1) Shall supervise and administer the office of the Association
2) Shall be responsible for coordinating all meetings of the
Association
3) Shall sit on the Executive Body
4) Shall keep the records and minutes and activities of the
Association

Section Six (6) Public Relations Officer

There shall be a Director of Communication who:
1) Shall be responsible for communication within and outside the
Association;
2) Shall be responsible for public relations and external affairs;
3) Shall coordinate all Functions of the Association
4) Shall coordinate all community services, organizations and
agencies relevant to the Association
5) Shall sit on the Executive Body

The Association shall elect a coordinator(s) and/or committees who may
be assigned specific duties as required and the coordinator must then
become member(s) of the Executive Body.

Section Seven (7) Cultural Affairs Co coordinator:

1) Shall coordinate all cultural activities for the group.
2) Shall liaise with other associations with cultural interest.
3) Shall develop and promote annual programs of cultural activities
for the group.
4) Shall head the cultural committee.

Section Eight (8) Committee Members:

1) Only registered members of the Association shall become members
of any committee of the Association;
a) Shall have the right to vote for or against any decision on the
committee

2) Each committee shall have the right to invite or refuse anyone
to its sittings

Section Nine (9) Members of the Association:

The number of people in the Association must be unlimited:

a) All new members will fill a registration form
b) The Association shall have the right to recognize any person as
associate, attached and honorary members

Section Ten (10) Employees:

The Association shall employ any number of staff required upon the
approval of the General Membership.

 

ARTICLE THREE

COUNCIL AND COMMITTEES

Section ONE (1) Executive Body:

There shall be an Executive Body, which will comprise the following:

1) The Chairman
2) The Vice-Chairman
3) The Treasurer
4) The Secretary
5) The Public Relations Officer
6) The Cultural Affairs Coordinator

Independent observer(s) or Advisor(s) Member(s) or outsider(s) who will
be chosen by the Members of the Association.

Section TWO (2) Board of Directors:

There shall be a Board of Directors which will comprise of five (5)
members from within the membership and/or the Executive Body.
1) Shall advise the Executive Body
2) Shall be elected and ratified by the General Membership
3) Shall act as, or appoint mediator(s) to settle conflicts, if any
4) Shall appoint its chair
5) Shall serve a term of three (3) years in office
6) Shall attend regular meetings of the Association
7) Shall meet 5 times in a year.

Section THREE (3) Decisions:

All decisions made by the Board of Directors shall seek approval of the
General Membership of the Association.

Section FOUR (4) Committees:

There shall be committees set by the ***Executive Body*** in any matter
that seems relevant and conducive to the Association's objectives:
a) Such committees shall exist for a period that will be determined
by the General Membership
b) Each committee shall appoint its Chairperson

ARTICLE FOUR

REGISTRATION OF MEMBERS

All members shall be officially registered.

Section ONE (1) Eligibility:

Persons of Southern Volta origin and their families.

Section TWO (2) Procedure:

New members shall first fill out registration form issued by the
Secretary for that purpose and on the recommendation of a probing
Committee and ratified by the General Membership. New members shall pay
a non-refundable registration fee and monthly dues as outlined in the
By-laws.

ARTICLE FIVE

ELECTIONS

Section ONE (1) General Election:

General elections shall be held at least once every three (3) years on a
date that will be set by the Board of Directors for all vacant positions
in the Association.

Section TWO (2) By-Elections:

The Association shall on the recommendation of the Board of Directors
hold By-Elections whenever necessary.

Section THREE (3) Cancellations and Postponement:

In the event that general elections are postponed or cancelled for any
reason, the Association shall upon the recommendations of the Board of
Directors and in resolution passed by a majority of the General
Membership hold an election at an approved date.

Section FOUR (4) Eligibility:

Only registered members of the Association and in good standing shall be
eligible to elect and or be elected for any vacancy in the Association.

Section FIVE (5) Acclamation:

In the event there is only one candidate contesting for any office as an
unopposed candidate, the sole candidate shall be acclaimed the winner of
that office/position.

Section SIX (6) Disqualifications:

A candidate who makes any false claim(s) to benefit from elections shall
be disqualified.

 

ARTICLE SIX

 

AMENDMENTS AND REPEAL OF THE BY-LAWS OF THE CONSTITUTION

All by-laws in this constitution are subject to amendment:

 

Section ONE (1) Amendment:

Any by-law or section of the by-law in the Constitution:
a) Shall be inserted
b) Shall be deleted
c) Shall be reworded

Whenever needed as will be determined by the General Membership on the
recommendation of the Board of Directors.

Section TWO (2) Change of Address

The address of the Association shall be subject to change and only be
done by the Executive Body on resolution passed by the General
Membership.

ARTICLE SEVEN

ACTIVITIES TO ACHIEVE GOALS

Section ONE (1) The Association:

The Association shall carry out any activity within the legal framework
of Canada that will enable it to achieve its prime objectives.

Section TWO (2) Members:

Activities in the Association of any member shall be focused on the
prime objectives of the Association.

Section THREE (3) Assets:

No individual shall keep any asset of the Association with him/her
without official consent of the Executive Body:
a) Any individual who receives any assets, money, donations, fees
or otherwise anything belonging to the Association shall deliver or
notify the office/officers of the Association within twenty-four (24)
hours.
b) The handing over and taking over of all assets, documents, and
everything belonging to the Association and the change of signatures at
banks and all other places where signatures are required must be
completed by the next General Meeting following the changes in office
and positions within the Association.

 

Section Four (4) End of Year:

The Association shall have an End of Year get-together and shall
evaluate annual activity of the Association. Date and time shall be
determined by the General Membership or the Executive Body and will use
any means of communication that will reasonably notify all members at
least four weeks before the due date.

 

ARTICLE EIGHT

VIOLATION OF THE CONSTITUTION

1) Any individual(s) whose actions, deeds, words or whatsoever may
be determined contrary to by-laws or part of any by-laws of the
Constitution shall be in violation of the Constitution
2) Any individual whose actions, deeds, words or whatsoever may be
determined undermining the image and purpose of the Association shall be
in violation of the Constitution
3) When a member is found in violation of any part of the
Constitution he/she shall be dismissed and or prosecuted

 

ARTICLE NINE

OPERATION

The Association will operate under the by-laws of the Constitution and
a) The Corporations Act of Ontario-Ontario's Charitable Act
b) All the laws of Canada
The Association shall not be responsible for any member that trespasses
the laws of Canada.

ARTICLE ELEVEN

SUBSIDIARIES

1. Cultural Group

(a) A cultural group shall be formed to organize cultural activities,
under the control of the Board of Directors.
(b) The Cultural Group shall promote the study of Ewe cultural in
Ontario.
(c) All members of the group shall be registered members.
(d) Before the Cultural group performs, the contract form shall be
signed by the Cultural Affairs Coordinator with the approval of the
Executive Body

 

GENERAL BY-LAWS OF THE SOUTHERN VOLTA ASSOCIATION OF CANADA

 

BY-LAW ONE (1)

 

SECTION ONE (1) OBJECTIVE:

The objectives for which the Association is constituted under the
Ontario Corporations Act for which non-profit organizations are:

a) Generally to encourage, foster and develop solidarity among all
Ewes of Southern Volta origin and their families who currently reside in
Canada.

b) To provide assistance to its members in all matters of:
i.
Immigration
ii.
Health and Welfare
iii.
Settlement

c) Promotion of Southern Volta Culture and International
development.

d) To foster contacts and cordial relationships with other
Associations.

e) To serve the government and people of Ontario, in any community
service and/or activity anytime required.

f) General Meetings will be on the third (3rd) Sunday of each
month (subject to change)

g) Executive meetings will be held on the first (1st) Sunday of
each month.

h) The Executive Body shall consist of the following: the Chairman,
the Vice-Chairman, Treasurer, Secretary, Director of Communications and
Cultural Coordinator.

i) Any member of the Executive Body who absents himself from
three (3) regular meetings of the Association or Executive Body, unless
granted leave of absence by the Executive Body, shall cease to be a
member of the Executive Body unless the General Membership decides
otherwise.

j) The Executive Body shall have all the powers of the
Association except the power to rescind or alter the Constitution and
by-laws.

BY-LAW TWO (2) DEATH BENEFIT/FUNERALS:

The Association is of the view that the following persons shall be
considered as close relatives of members whose funeral celebrations will
be officially assisted by the Association:
a) Biological father
b) Biological mother
c) Wife/husband
d) Children

The use of the word "Biological" excludes foster parents and step
parents.

Husband / Wife must be registered members of the group for benefit to
apply.

Children ranging from 16 years - 25 years and not in school should be
registered members of the group for benefit to apply.

BY-LAW THREE (3) DEATH OF A MEMBER'S SPOUSE OR CHILD

1) Upon the death of a member, his/her spouse or child, all members
shall be required to pay forty dollars ($40.00) per head.

2) When the Association is informed of the death of a Member's
father or mother, each member will be obliged to contribute forty
dollars ($40.00) towards the funeral. The Association will ensure that
an effort is made to collect this contribution from each member.

3) A list of all members of the Association will be submitted to
the beneficiary with remarks against defaulters. During the next General
Meeting immediately after said function, members who did not contribute
should be made to contribute and the proceeds given to the beneficiary.
Members who fail to contribute at this point in time will have their
subsequent monthly dues used to defray the payment.

4) The Association should be given information at least one month
before any such function to enable the Executive Body to inform all
members of the Association.

BY-LAW FOUR (4) CAUTION:

Any other person outside the said close relatives i.e. brother, sister,
uncle, aunt, nephew, niece, grand-parents or grand children should be
treated on purely "Lom Na Va" basis.

BY-LAW FIVE (5) OUTDOORING/NAMING CEREMONIES:

On such occasions, every Member will contribute thirty dollars ($30.00)
and the proceeds treated in the same way as that of funeral donations.

a) The Association will officially attend one outdooring ceremony
of each member. Any subsequent ones should be treated on "Lom Na Va"
basis.

BY-LAW SIX (6) WHEN A MEMBER'S SPOUSE IS BEREAVED:

The same service as obtained under Section Three (3), By-Law Two (2)
will apply when a member's spouse is bereaved.

BY-LAW SEVEN (7) INITIATION/REGISTRATION:

The registration fees shall be fifty dollars ($50.00) per head.

BY-LAW EIGHT (8) MONTHLY DUES

The monthly dues per member are ten dollars ($10.00). This amount is
subject to change.

BY-LAW NINE (9) THE CHAIRMAN:

The Chairman shall preside over all General Meetings and enforce order
and strict observance of the Constitution and by-laws. He/she shall
exercise a general supervision over the officers and business of the
Association and shall cast the deciding vote when there is an equal
division on any question. If he/she has not previously voted on the
question (the Chairman is by virtue a member of all Committees but may
not vote as a Member thereof)

 

BY-LAW TEN (10) THE VICE-CHAIRMAN:

The rights and powers vested in the Chairman shall in his/her absence or
disability be vested in the Vice-Chairman.

BY-LAW ELEVEN (11) THE SECRETARY:

1) The Secretary shall keep a record of the proceeding of all
Meetings whether of the General Membership or of the Executive Body in
the books provided for that purpose. He shall have with him/her at every
business meeting the proper minutes, books, records and all
correspondence relative to the business likely to be transacted at any
meeting. The Secretary shall hold these and act at all times and all
respects entirely at the will and direction of the Executive Body and
shall conform to the rules and regulations as the Executive Body may
determine.

2) The Seal of the Association shall be in the custody of the
Secretary and shall be according to special design as may be determined
by the Association.

BY-LAW TWELVE (12) THE TREASURER:

The Treasurer shall keep a just and true account of all monies received
and paid same at the Association accounts. This includes all financial
transactions of every kind i.e. donations, monthly dues and
registration/initiation fees. All monies in of two hundred dollars
($200.00) shall be paid out by cheque only, signed by the Treasurer, the
Chairman and the Secretary. No cheque shall be signed by any officer in
blank. The Treasurer shall keep his/her books up-to-date and they are
open to inspection by the Chairman and the executives.

 

BY-LAW THIRTEEN (13):

The Chairman shall rule out of order all matters of religious discussion
and also all matters pertaining to political questions which do not
refer to the well-being of the Association.

BY-LAW FOURTEEN (14):

At the hour appointed, the Chairman shall take the chair and call the
meeting to order and shall preside during the meeting. In the case the
Chairman is absent or has been disqualified, the Vice-Chairman shall act
in his stead. In the absence of or disability of the Chairman and
Vice-Chairman, the Secretary shall call the meeting to order and a
temporary chair shall be for the meeting.

 

BY-LAW FIFTEEN (15):

The presiding officer at any meeting shall endorse order and strict
observance of this by-law. He/she shall have the right to decide all
questions out of order subject to appeal to the meeting sustained by
two-thirds (2/3) vote of those present.

BY-LAW SIXTEEN (16):

Any member wishing to introduce a motion or to speak shall rise and
address the presiding officer and shall wait until he/she is recognized
before speaking.

BY-LAW EIGHTEEN (18):

Where a business arises of which notice of motion has not been given,
the Chairman, if he/she considers is in the interest of the Association
adjourn to next general meeting the debate of such business.

BY-LAW NINETEEN (19) DISQUALIFICATION OF MEMBERS:

Any member of the Association shall cease to be a member and shall be
the duty of the executive body to declare his/her disqualification of
membership:
i.
If by notice in writing, he/she resigns
ii.
If he/she dies
iii.
If he/she misses three consecutive regular meetings without explanation

a) Any member of the executive and/or director, or officer shall
vacate his/her position if he/she misses three consecutive meetings
including executive meetings without valid written and/or formal excuse
to the Association.

b) The office of a director or officer shall be declared vacant if,
after eight (8) days notice to the General Membership, by a resolution
passed by at least two-thirds (2/3) of the vote cast at a meeting, the
seat of such member shall be declared vacant.

c) Any member who misuses or uses the name of the Association
without proper authorization shall be deemed to have violated the
Constitution and shall be dismissed and prosecuted.

d) Any executive member, board of directors or any person acting on
behalf of the executive or the board who uses their position for
personal gains shall be dismissed and prosecuted.

BY-LAW TWENTY (20) DECISIONS:

All decisions made by the Executive Body shall seek the approval of the
General Membership of the Association.

BY-LAW TWENTY-ONE (21) CODE OF CONDUCT:

a) Before a meeting begins the Executive officers shall distribute
copies of the agenda to all members.

b) The agenda shall state items to be discuss.

c) The Chairman shall select and announce a Porter who shall
regulate the time proceeding of the meeting.

d) If the time allocated for a particular item has elapsed without
the matter being resolve, the Porter shall report to the Chairman who
shall make adjustment to the agenda.

e) During question time the chairman shall call a member before the
member speaks.

f) Any member who interrupts a fellow member shall forfeit a
contribution on the item under discussion.

g) Should a member persists on disrupting the meeting, the Chairman
shall order the Porter to escort the member out of the meeting. The
member shall be fined for $20.00 and/or suspended from the next general
meeting.

h) Any member who is thrown out of a meeting twice in a year shall
be suspended for one calendar year.

i) Any member, who abuses, threatens, harasses, or ridicules a
fellow member at Southern Volta Association of Canada meetings or
functions shall be suspended from the Association. The Executive
Committee shall determine the duration of the member's suspension, and
inform the Board of Directors about their deliberations.

j) Any member who physically assaults a fellow member at any
Southern Volta Association of Canada meetings or functions shall be
suspended indefinitely and prosecuted in a court of law. Should the case
be withdrawn or the member acquitted by the courts, the Board of

Directors shall determine the member's fate in the Association.

k) For the safety and interest of all members there will be no
drinking of alcohol at or during the General meeting and Executive
meeting.

BY-LAW TWENTY-TWO (22) AMENDMENTS:

All by-laws in this constitution are subject to amendment.
a) Shall be inserted
b) Shall be deleted
c) Shall be re-worded
When needed as will be determined by the Executive Body.
